About This Project

SUE Solutions contracted with UDOT Region One and the project’s design consultant to provide utility investigation services in the form of SUE Quality Level D (utility owner and mapping research), Quality Level C (sewer and storm drain investigations and data collection), Quality Level B (designating), and Quality Level A (test holes) for this UDOT and Local Government project located in North Logan, Utah. To help manage the flow of traffic, North Logan City and UDOT is designing a roundabout to be constructed at this intersection of 400 East 2200 North.  SUE Solutions successfully designated approximately 5,170 lineal feet of underground utilities to Quality Level B standards and specifications, mapped approximately 740 feet of overhead utilities along with documenting the utility owner connections to the existing power poles, located and mapped approximately 1,790 lineal feet of existing sewer and storm drain features (created data sheets containing inverts, sizing, material, and connectivity), and successfully completed five (5) test holes at critical locations. SUE Solutions worked closely with the project’s survey team to ensure the timely and accurate collection of the utility designations. As its deliverable to UDOT and the design consultant, SUE Solutions provided a comprehensive report documenting their findings and noting any limitations encountered during their investigations. The report also included photographs of the utility designations, sewer and storm drain data sheets, utility mapping as provided by the utility owners, and test hole data sheets. SUE Solutions completed the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
