SR-265; MP 2.70 TO MP 3.60, UNIVERSITY PARKWAY; 800 EAST (OREM) TO 2230 NORTH (PROVO)

SUE Solutions successfully completed the Quality Level B (utility designating) services for the SR-265; MP 2.70 to MP 3.60, (University Parkway; 800 East (Orem) to 2230 North (Provo)) project located in Utah County, for UDOT Region Three. The project consists of roadway widening and reconstruction. As part of the SUE Quality Level B activities, SUE Solutions also provided the survey tasks and CAD (mapping) tasks associated to the designated utility field markings. SUE Solutions completed the SUE efforts in June of 2013, and was able to designate these utilities ahead of schedule and under budget. Approximately 25,000 feet of Level B designated utilities were located as part of the utility investigations, as well as an additional 9,000 feet of overhead utilities mapped. Utility coordination efforts with existing utility owners, and local utility locating contractors also took place to account for those utilities that were not locatable by conventional means. SUE Solutions located utilities which included culinary water, secondary water, phone, CATV, fiber optics, electrical, natural gas, sewer, and storm drain.   The final deliverable to the design consultant consisted of a comprehensive final SUE report which contained existing utility conditions and their limitations, photographs of designated utilities, survey data, digital project files (CAD), and existing utility owner mapping.
